ultimate sadness, where have my holidays gone?
the next bigg bigg holiday i can look forward to is after my A's,
but that seems like a gazillion lightyears away from now!
anyways, straight after 3 gruelling hours for my geog paper,
with fingers sore from gripping the pen so tightly,
i sped over to baby's place, and we got readyy to go for dinner~!!
i was super starvin' cos i skipped lunch before my paper,
BIGBIG mistake.
one hour into the paper, to my utter embarrassment,
my stomach gave an unmistakably LOUD growl!
such a paiseh moment.
when i got there, babyy surprised me with a sunflower!!!
it was so bright andd pretty~!
I ADORE SUNFLOWERS LIKE MADD!
just brightens up my already-happy mood!
but i magically transformed it into TWO sunflowers~!
TADAAS~ impressed?
camwhore abit before we left,
many failed attempts but at least this one turned out all right.
*sniffs sniff*
curiousity didn't kill tingly.
its scent was so strong that it filled the entire room with the smell of fresh flowers,
extremely refreshing and delightful!
its even better than the aroma-smokey thingg that i have in my room!
its even better than the aroma-smokey thingg that i have in my room!
love <3>
*babyy i need dinner badly!!*
awww you look like sucha sad little rum ball (:
ultramannn~ ULTRAMANNN~!!!!
see the cute axe its carrying?
me and babyy spent about 5 games at the pasar malam at amk to finally win two of them axes!
its so much more than just an inflatable axe!
its not only portable, but extremely fun when me and baby start whacking the crap outta each other with those axes.
LOLS, as usual, i win! (:
VIVIENNE-1, JUSTIN-0!
gosh, ultraman looks like some freakyy alien abducting babyy in this picture!
don't worry, i'll save you! :D
after all that, we finally headed out to dinner,
after all that, we finally headed out to dinner,
but before that, we headed to topshop to get baby's present.
couldn't find the shirt he wanted, but he eyed another one.
elton scone.
the blue glittery thingyy was dazzling, andd he looked mad nice in it!
so it was sucha good buy!
finally headed to dinner at ryoichi sushi again, cos i missed my smoked salmon and mango sushi,
while baby couldn't wait to get his hands on his soft shell crab roll!
when we arrived, all the booth tables were filled,
shocking to be rather crowded on a wednesday night.
i presume everyone would be at home, and only special cases like us would be out for dinner on a wed night. guess i was so wrong.
we were slotted into a two-seater located beside this glass division,
whereby next door was Thai Express.
andd there was a couple sitting there right beside us,
so it seemed like we were dining with them,
rather uncomfortable but no more seats available.
after we decided what to order, there was an available booth seat and i was so happy about it!
i was all out to rating them 4 out of 5 for services,
but further on into the dinner, i was more and more disappointed.
firstly, my salmon and mango sushi still tasted delicious,
but it has reduced greatly in size.
baby's soft shell crab was even more of a disappoinment for him,
cos the size was reduced by nearly half of it.
but he enjoyed his salmon cheek, andd the beef was absolute yums!
WORSE THING happened was the damage done to my beloved sunflowers!
when we first entered, the waitress kindly offered to keep it in the fridge for me,
when she said fridge, little did i expect it to be the FREEZER where they store the bloody ice cream.
my poor sunflower wilted within 15 mins of removing it from the freezer,
but luckily it only affected 1/3 of my pretty sunflower.
i withdrew backk any good ratings i had to the service immediately,
for they should have known better than putting it in at sucha low temperature.
sunflowers and ice cream are two different things,
andd the damage was only done after i left the restaurant.
totally bummed out by that..
now my sunflowers stand facing my window,
with only 2/3 of the flower still retaining its pretty yellow petals,
the rest have gone brown from the exposure to the sun this morning! hmpfs!
anyways, although it did affect my mood, i still had a great night out!
andd no more exams to stress my brain cells for a while. :)
babyyy was in his new shirt today!
<33
headed to Din Tai Fung todayy for dinner!!
we were gonna try the Steamed Chilli Crab XiaoLongBao!
limited edition in conjunction with singapore food fest,
until 31st aug only!
although that was our primary motive,
we missed the original xiao long baos there as well,
so we did the craziest thingg and ordered two whole baskets of xiaolongbao!(10 piece each)
andd the chilli crab thingy, steamed yam paos, and a plate of their crazily delicious dan chao fan!
*did we order too much??? its alrighty, my mighty expandable stomach to the rescue!*
but it was pretty prompt.
5 minutes after we've placed our orders, our piping hot baskets of food arrived!! xDD
scream for more!
andd this is the maddest thing we have done,
two baskets of xiaolongbaos will not only make you extremely bloated to the max,
but it will also leave you not craving for xiaolongbaos for a longlong time.
too much of a good thing just kills the yearning for it.
so, the next time you're feeling greedy, order one basket,
and decide on ordering the second one only later into the meal!
this was one of the first few he ate,
he popped them into his mouth easily, (this was not his expression when he was eating his 8th one)
and they were maddeningly soupyy when you place the entire thing in and bite down on it!
i used to put it in on the spoon and nibble a tiny hole, before drinking the soup,
and then popping the remaining into my mouth.
but babyy's way of eating it is so much better!
the taste just fuses together~!
lols!
the yam pao was yummy!! but the skin was abit too hard,
babyy loved it though, he said it tasted like REAL bun!
lols. probably the normal ones taste kinda fake to him, right baby?
hadd sucha full dinner we practically ROLLED ourselves along to check out the Ion, where they really built a two-storey high LV outlet!
it was absolute GLAM, and oh-so-classy!!
but either its closed, or baby's theory that nobody dared step in the Louis Vuitton shop was true.
either way, we headed back to cine for our movie, Threads of Destiny.
was kinda...confusing,
and not much destiny-y stuff, except same birthday on the same unique day (29th feb)
and they went to the same school.
the ending was too abrupt and i didn't even expect it at all!
so i take it that its true when everyone says this is nto as good as sky of love,
although its the same director.
lols, i thought that abusive boyfriend of hers was mad though, and she was way too nice!
i missed watching movies so much,
really relaxing when its just the screen, surround sound system, and the accompanyment that makes it so complete and perfect. :)
gawdd how i miss going to the movies!!
anyways, still gotta get up for school tmr, drats!
hope i won't be late for class breakfast at 8.30.
i will try my very best to hear my alarm~!
goodnights people!
goodnights people!
[[ that's what i love about youu. ]]]
