sunny isle....

IS WHAT I WANT TO BE ON NOW!
now, this means anywhere where i can get a nice tan, clean beach, calming waves, good food, cocktails all day long, ZERO workload and ZERO worries!
sounds all too good to be true, but i believe such place actually exist,
and that will be my next holiday destination in the (extremely) near future!
it sounds reasonable, i don't need to have an extravagant amount in my account to travel, i need not pay for overpriced hotels in big cities, fine dining comes in the form of exotic dinners al fresco style, and away from all the technology and city life! seems perfect to me.

hmm..this is rather attractive!
maybe this..

OOOO..i like this even more!!
but will the grass somehow appear greener on the other side?
these pictures were taken straight of the official website(how official i am not too certain), the monsoon season might be in, so no sun. stuck indoors all day, bunking in with free-loading mosquitoes that infest these tiny islands, creepy crawlies of all sorts, maybe even snakes.
sigh, i do love being in the city when i think of these, but i really really need somewhere AWAY!

boo..to think i'm imagining all these nice exotic getaways when i'm still stuck in singapore, held back by my tight budget constraint. bo-ring.

anyhows, this has been weeks ago.
we went to celebrate baby's little cousin's birthday, (not exactly little, but still little to me.) at this mad awesome place!

little bali~
and whoever knew sucha place existed!
upon stepping in, you'd be greeted by loads and loads of lush greenery, you have no idea how fresh and crisp the air was! my lungs felt instantly cleared of all the polluted air i breathe in everyday.
and because it was hidden among all the trees, it was surprisingly cool, not the normal humid and sticky feeling you get (urgh, hate those kind)

we were all led to this little 'hut', where we maintained our own private space apart from other guests, such exclusivity never fails to please me!
after getting our seats, we wandered around, and realised that the place was pretty gigantic! like it could fit the saturday night crowd, PLUS a 21st birthday party! awesome! =DD

my favourite part of the entire place!!
somehow it has this like..tribal feeling, i feel like i'm in a real-life Survivor village! Like, this is how they must have felt!! so close to nature, complemented with all the torches, totems, and MOSQUITOES!

then again, they have this miraculous incense that you can request for,
and when they start burning it, not only does it not emit those usual incense-ey smell, it is odourless, and HIGHLY effective!!
ZERO mosquito bites! and i am extremely prone to mosquito bites, these damn bloodsuckers really LOVE my blood!!
i wonder if i could actually get my hands on some of those 'mosquito-repellent'. Well, they definitely work and smell better than those from Watsons!

and after a long wait.....

DINNER IS SERVED!
many different types of cuisine to choose from, loads of combination!
but i'm not gonna spoil the fun.
its so exciting when you get to see the menu for yourself for the first time,
i hate looking at menus online, and know what i'm gonna expect for dinner.
But sometimes, due to special circumstances(like budget/ cravings), one is left with no choice but to turn to online menus.

food was REAL yums, but it started pouring towards the end of dinner, so we sought shelter deeper into the villa, and that was when the mosquitoes started attacking me like crazy..
but, minus the mozzies part, it was sucha good dinner!
and i am so definitely going back again!!
I HAVE EVEN THOUGHT OF THE OCCASION!! =D

its already the end of june, school's in for all you secondary school students!
oh, stop the whining, i went through it as well, so i feel you.
think of JC students, they have exams going on right now?
how's that for complaining, it sucks even more, having to waste an entire month studying. :(

school's starting really real soon for me, and i'm missing my 8-month holiday break already. just down to the last 2 months.
Still, i have FOC to look forward to! i hope there are plenty of great people! and i have a good feeling about this.
Just last saturday, i got surprise visit, and a special delivery of an FOC package + a goodie bag!
i presume those were my seniors, but they made so much effort of coming down specially that i was shocked.
i mean, who does that? after attending years after years of orientation, all i got was a phone call the night before telling me which group i belong to, and what to bring the next day.
At most it would be an email, but not a personalised delivery straight to my doorstep!
hahaha, feeling excited about this already!!
Great people to last me through 4 years in uni~ awesome!!

Wild Honey

Over the last weekend, baby had discovered a new food haunt,
which turned out to be even more fabulous than i had expected.
When he told me that we'll be going to someplace that serves All Day Breakfast,
you can imagine the excitement brewing up in me!
Like my all-time favourite meal! well, okay, breakfast IS my favourite meal depending on my mood, sometimes i do love dinner too, like how all the work's ended, and this is a nice treat for working so hard all day long!
But breakfast! oh, i would give up sleeping in for a BIG huge plate of waffles drenched in maple syrup!

So we headed down to town, in the early hours of 11am(its early considering its a saturday!), and made our way to Wild Honey.
Boasting an all-day-long international breakfast menu, this cosy cafe situated in the heart of Orchard Road, was surprisingly crowded!!
and i thought we were early.
we gave our names & contact, and was promised a seat in 'approximately 45 minutes'.
To our utmost disappointment, when we went back after 45 minutes, with appetites huge enough to down every single breakfast set they offered, we were told that there were still 4 couples in front of us.
Right there and then, it was already close to lunch-time.
We were thinking of an alternative place to head to for lunch, considering that we had to wait another 30 minutes(which i pretty much believed was going to be yet another inaccurate prediction).
Just then, i stared through a tiny glass panel which wasn't boarded up like the other areas, and saw couples, friends, families enjoying what looked like breakfast that was worth waiting for.
The servings were HUGE, as if they were meant to feed GIANTS!
but we could easily handle that, given the famished state we were in.
But what i noticed was that despite chairs and tables being placed quite closely to each other, they were all in their own little worlds, oblivious to their surroundings. There was this homely feeling you get, whereby you could just enjoy breakfast, in such a lively atmosphere that isn't interrupting.
That was when i decided the wait was worth it, with baby backing my idea up.

Surprisingly, we were led to a table in less than 10 minutes after,
probably cos we had no more energy to walk around, so we just waited at the entrance.
i presume that if you wait there, you get shown to a table quicker! =D Just a guess!

Ours wasn't a table, but more of a sofa, with a table in front.
We were in the middle of the entire cafe, other tables surrounding us, and in such an awkward position, such that both of us faced the counter when we were seated.
Nevertheless, everyone was oblivious to us, so the sense of awkwardness disappeared after awhile.
I was kinda spoilt for choices at the breakfast menu, but not particularly attracted to anyone, all of them looked fab and i finally ended up with the Scandinavian.
Baby chose the classic English breakfast.

the wait wasn't too long, with our strawberry doughnut(which didn't look or taste anything like it) to sustain our hungry stomachs.

My Scandinavian Breakfast.
I have to say, i thought i read it as 'smoked salmon', and was disappointed when poached salmon arrived in its place, but it was nonetheless equally yummyy!!!
the rosti tasted like potato chips rather than rosti! =DD loves!! <3

Baby's English Breakfast.
Now this is what i call a good ol' breakfast, nothing like that to make your day!
half the time, i ate more from his plate than mine because everything, EVERYTHING, was so yummy! from the buttered mushrooms to the chunked potatoes and sausages! HEAVENLY!!!!

Pretty interior!!

waiting for the food, trying to capture a shot of the layout,
but..it was abit tricky cos of the sofa seat. :(

at least mine turned out better! =DD
crowded crowded crowded!!!

it is no wonder the wait for tables looked so long, because everyone just wanted to stay there longer!
i don't blame them, because we were one of the guilty fews who sat there for longer than we needed! I didn't wanna leave, i could sit there all day long!!!
The poor waiters had no choice but to repeatedly try to clear our plates, in the hope of getting us to leave, which i am guessing is due to the lunch crowd, but i repeatedly declined again and again. (Guiltily!!)

we finally gave up trying to sit there any longer, and our bloated selves could do with some walking.
i left contented and determined to make my second trip there once again!
Good food are always costly! we can't make this a frequent habit, as much as we want to!

Thanks baby for the wonderful trip to wild honey!! <3
i love it SOOOOOOOO MUCH!!! =DD

till next time!!
I'm finally meeting kate again after soooo long!
and after so many years, i will have pictures of US to post!
i dunno why we never snap photos whenever we meet!
haha either its slipped our mind, or we plain forgotten!!
BAIBYES!

portugal vs Korea

portugal just set world record for world cup 2010,
portugal 7-0!
by the 5th goal, the coaches stopped cheering after each goal,
the players were stunned by their luck.
the goal by christiano put a total 'omg-i-can't-believe-my-luck' expression on his charming face.
poor korea. they tried..
Portugal was just legend tonight.

Thanks to sg pools kinda screwed-up machines that jammed the entire betting system at 7.15pm, just as i was queueing to place the bets!
had i gone ahead to bet with 2-0 or total goal 3, my $$$ would be long gone!
but its still snugly nestled within my wallet! teehee!
and i could still happily cheer for portugal as they scored continuous goals all night!! =D

told you it won't be long till i find something interesting again..

and there i have it!!
every girl's (or guy's) dream! A whole REALISTIC world of Harry Potter!!
yes, you didn't hear wrong, its HARRY POTTER, not Helicopter.
The world of magic and adventure, Hogwarts, DiagonAlley, all the streets and bars that we once read in the book or watch in the movies a longlong time ago.

it felt like forever since i first brandished my imaginary 'wand'(a broken cane) at my sis going 'Wingardium Leviosa! WINGARDIUM LEVIOSA!! WINGARDIUM LEVIOSA!!!!' willing her to be lifted up in the air!
alas, she didn't, and i blamed it on her physical state, seeing that as the reason why she couldn't be lifted by my lifting spell! don't be critical, i was only 10 years old then!
Also, my many nights of repeated dreaming of Platform 9 and 3/4, which kept appearing in my dreams as 2 stations to the left of Paddington Station.(yes, i know very well in the book it was stated Kings Cross Station). A kid can dream.
Along with my looking out of the window, hoping to see an owl flying towards me with my very own Hogwarts letter when i was 12! the age when wizards will be chosen to enter Hogwarts. Yeah, but of course, no owls came, plenty of magpies and crows though, sometimes even sparrows, but nope, no owls. and yes, i still HAD to sit for my PSLE that year. hmpf...

so, i gave up any hope that i could actually experience all that magic in this lifetime! butbutbut, that is when Universal Studios, revered upon by millions, is actually going to make my dream come true!
they are(bless them!) going to build a Harry Potter theme park right in the middle of Universal Studios Orlando, and i know, I KNOW that it is my very next dream destination!! forget Japan, this is WAYYYY COOOLER!!!
and i will never underestimate the EXTENT that Universal Studios would go to, to actually make it as realistic as possible. For years, i've heard of their attractions from many. And i know this is gonna be the best attraction they will ever come up with!
every harry potter fan, with their childhood dream of ever experiencing the wizard world, can finally free their surpressed disappointment by paying a visit to USO!! =DDD

i've spent the entire morning reading up on it, and managed to snitch(SNITCH!) a few pictures from a fan site.
CHECK THIS OUT! :

majestic entrance!!! i can almost taste the atmosphere from where i am!
the mystery of it all!!! oooo lala!

The Three Broomsticks! the famous pub which boasts their ever-famous Butterbeers!
And i told you, that you could expect it to be as realistic as possible, they do even serve Butterbeers!!! i can't wait to down a whole jug of it, and experience the warm, buttery feeling as it slides down your throat! even if its gonna cost me 50bucks a mug!

check out this ride!!! ON A HIPPOGRIFF!!! im betting they have a broomstick ride too! but this is awesome, the way they sculpture the roller coaster to actually mimick a hippogriff itself! =DD oh im getting too excited..calm down calm down..

The wizard shop that sells everything! Dervish and Banges!
i will buy down the entire shop! well, depends on how good their products are. if its like those really cheapskate invisible ink, or squishy gooey toys. real genuine movie-like memorabilia are what i want to lay my greedy hands on!

HONEYDUKES!!! MY ABSOLUTE FAVOURITE STORE WHEN I READ ABOUT IT!!!
the way rowling writes about this shop, its like they have 1.5 million varieties of different chocolates and sweets!! yes, they do boast chocolate frogs and Bertie Botts every flavoured beans, but i don't think there's any way of actually making the chocolate frogs move. neither do i think they have puking pastiles or fainting fancies! although if they'd really do have, they'll make a really good prank souvenir! mwahahahas! >:D

and so...this is my next destination! =D
The magical world of Harry Potter, HERE I COME!!!!!!!!!

Prawning.

Just yesterday, style was mentioning about prawning, and that's right where I am now. If not for the lack of sleep catching up with me, i'd have enjoyed it much more. It's been coming to a year since I went prawnin, and what was supposed to be late night movies changed into an impromptu prawning session at bottletree with baby and D. And since baby and I are sharin a rod, its luckybibhave his iPhone to entertain me. Blogging with a computer is the easiest, followed by blackberry then iPhone. Butbim not comlplainin! I'm finally beginning to understand the convenience of having an iPhone with you. and omg, you'd be surprised at the number of people who are prawning at this timing. The entire pool's full of prawners! I can easily bet there are more peolple than prawns cos the frequency of prawns are extremely low. Either that,or there are no professionals here. Oh their very first prawn! Haha. World cup is on here as well. Must be a Saturday night that's givin all these people insomnia.

animal oddities~

many may think this is weird, but this baby is so awesomely CUTE TO ME!!

a two-faced kitten, discovered in perth.
A rare case, but nonetheless, lucky owners!!

and some silly things that people do with their pets:

ushering in the year of the tiger!
this golden looked better in its original shade!

Chow chows turned into pandas!
These are cute! if i ever had one, this is what i'll do too! =DD

24-hour memory!! scary yet blessed!

OMG remember that show 50 First Dates starring Drew Barrymore and Adam Sandler,
where she had a 24-hour memory, and every day, she'd keep thinking it was her dad's birthday, and her family had to play along with her everyday?
it was a pretty cool show cos of the refreshing storyline, plus the fact that i watched it nearly 40 times on the plane ride to London when i was in sec 2.

I had always thought it fictional until i heard Ross mention that there is such a person existing!

The woman who wakes up thinking its 1994 every morning and then forgets everything the next day due to car crash injury:
Every day, Michelle Philpots wakes up next to a man who has to convince her they are married.
When she expresses doubt, he takes out a photo album and shows her pictures of their wedding 13 years ago.
Only then does amnesiac Mrs Philpots accept she is talking to her husband, Ian, and that everything he has told her is true.

Her case echoes 50 First Dates, the 2004 movie in which Adam Sandler tries to woo Drew Barrymore, who has no day-to-day memory following a car crash.

And it is not just loved ones Mrs Philpots struggles with. She uses hundreds of Post-It notes and reminders on her mobile phone's calendar to keep her informed of appointments and everyday duties.

Anything she has done or anyone she has met must be logged for future reference. And on the rare occasions she ventures out of her home in Spalding, Lincolnshire, she goes armed with sat-nav programmed with her address.

There are some benefits, however. There is no such thing as a repeat on TV and every joke is funny because it's the first time she's heard it.

'It's like I am living the same day, day after day,' said Mrs Philpots, who does voluntary work at a charity for people with disabilities three days a week.
'I love to watch EastEnders but I can't remember the characters or any story lines.' Her husband, a 46-year-old fencer, said the secret of the success of their marriage was patience.

'It can be very frustrating for me but I have to be patient and understand. I have to keep calm because I love her,' he said.

'I've known her for 25 years so I am lucky we met before she had the accidents because she can remember me. Luckily we have lots of photos to remind her, otherwise she would forget it all.'

awww!!! her husband is so sweet, and still chooses to be with her, reminding her that she's married every single day!
So storylines in movies can be true in real life after all!
well this one's real sweet,
but i still feel sad for the guy in the movie who had a 10-second memory and kept introducing himself every 10 seconds. :(

[[ wouldn't it be nice if we could wake up, in the morning when the day is new! ]]

mistaken..

just today, i was wondering how on earth do i wear a ring,
and not get mistaken for being engaged/married.
turns out i found some interesting info nuggets bout wedding rings and how to wear em!
check this out!

It is an ancient belief that the vein in the fourth finger of the left hand went straight to the heart. This is one reason why the wedding ring is usually worn on the fourth finger of the left hand and symbolizes strong everlasting love and fidelity.

awww isn't that just sweet! i never knew the true meaning until today!!
also, if you wanna kill anyone, you know where the vital point is now. (:

it has been a rather slow moving week, BUT, its a friday so i shall not complain.
will be going out to celebrate hm's birthday tonight, and i'm pretty sure she won't be able to read this in time, so...haha!!
Off to Pasta de Waraku for dinner! oh-so-yums!
i have missed my wafu pasta dearly.

Had an interesting new food haunt today with JY, my bestest lunch buddy!
always have new thins to try! don't forget our date at Fou de Fafa! :)
So, we had The Soup Spoon today for lunch! awesome place, not so awesome crowd,
but hey! that goes to show that its good!
i tried their Velvety Mushroom Stroganoff and it was so yummy!!
apart from the mushroom soup they serve at Marche,
this one had full mushroom chunks, but being cream base, i got kinda sick of it towards the end..
JY had Meatless Minestrone with Gremolata which is wayy more delish than the one they serve at Pasta Mania & Pizza Hut(which by far happens to be the only two places i've tried em.
But DUH! its THE soup spoon, they are supposed to be professional in their soups! :D
i'm going to try all the flavours they have there! I'm working my way to be a true blue souperholic now!
next up on the menu for me: Beef Goulash, and their Spicy Wedges!
you'd be surprised at how SOUP can actually fill you up! I've never felt more bloated in my entire life!

Anyway, i had a nightmare just last night about my wisdom tooth growing, and then of having shaky molars! Then i was involved in this robbery, i'm the one stealing the jewellery, and i was being chased by CIA and guarddogs! Then it switched to me being on a ship, that was stranded in a storm in the middle of the ocean, AT NIGHT! pitch dark!
BAD BAD night, did NOT have a good night sleep at all! Damn!
(and i believe YOU know why.)

I'm in for a very very busy weekend ahead!
i can dream about having late sleep-in on my saturday/sunday mornings~!

MUNCH = YUMMY LUNCH

Just two days back, when the weather was really bad,
dark ominous clouds and strong winds, impending thunderstorm and all,
me & JY chanced upon a new lunch bistro, MUNCH.
its so near yet so far. i've easily walked past it 30 times since i've started working in robinson road, and yet i've never gotten down to actually trying it.

So, thanks to the rain, we were forced to go somewhere sheltered, and what better place to go to than munch? just 10 steps from the front of our building, seriously 10 steps, and we're there!
upon entering, we were greeting by a vast selection of salads!
the menu looked like it would never end.
it was like finding a chocolate egg during an easter hunt!! the joy & thrill i get from finally finding a place that spells LUNCH for me!
although i have to admit one lunch at munch could easily cover 2.5 days worth of lunch, BUT it is oh-so-worth-it!

basically, they are famous for their salads which i have yet to try! GINORMOUS servings, but all at a reasonable price! i nipped some from JY, and the chicken tasted so yummy! bacon n potatoes were absolute loves!!
but what i had made me yearn to go back for more!
actually, the only reason that made me decide i would ever try munch was when i walked past it one lunch, and saw someone having rosti. YES! rosti!
like the only place i'll ever have that would be in Marche, and that's either too out of the way, or out of my budget to eat on a regular basis.
So guess how delighted yours truly was when she discovered a place that actually served rosti, a stone throw away from her office! HEEHEEHEE!

i had rosti with sour cream, absolutely gobsmackinly DEYUMMILICIOUS!!
i am SO going back for more, and while i was busy scanning the menu, i found a new breakfast item to add on my list.
months of Mr Bean / Polar that i always pick up at the MRT in the morning has seriously left me rather sick of them.
so lucky for me, i discovered they served bagels~!! YAY YAY!
bagels with cream cheese even~ *drools*

so that was my fruitful trip to MUNCH which i had always considered an overpriced and high-end place, only to discover that i have yet to learn my lesson - never judge a book by its cover!

off to dinner now~!! and hopefully, KILLERS! ashton kutcher i love you! xDD

[[ the one thing i never lost sight of, you! =D ]]

Random thoughts the whole day...PLUS! outing with vak! xD

While working today, i chanced upon my entire collection of Disney soundtracks,
which made me thought of the happiest place on earth, Disneyland.
words simply can't describe the feeling you get when you step through those gates you paid $100 for! i'd willingly pay another $100 to go again!

such a welcoming sight! i bet entering disneyland could solve any problem!!
no matter how upset, how angry you are at something, this is THE place to go to!
honestly, its magical powers are beyond words.

One of my favourite attraction, the Haunted Mansion, based on The Nightmare Before Christmas!! all my favourite tunes and characters in one place!

This also reminded me of all the attractions there, including a very cute one named The Tiki Room! It had the most tiki songs i've ever heard!! until today, i still remember its tune without youtube-ing it!! in fact, i pretty much remembered everything about disneyland, from the way the rides went, to the way the layout is. How i wish i had another chance to go there right now~!!

Ohwell, i know its impossible. But i have something else to look forward to!
My 'Le Enfant Terribles' play coming up next saturday!!

I'm trying my very best to not search anything from youtube so as to let everything remain a surprise. its really difficult!

the odd crew! told you it was a mix between Tim Burton & Doctor Parnassus.
I hope it'll be really good.
On a more surprising tone, i accidentally saw this korean babe a few days back.
Kim Tae Yeon.
Baby was all eyes on her when she walked past,
but i thought she was nothing more than another pretty korean girl on holiday with her family(and her awesomely HOT brother whom i suspect has undergone plastic surgery too)
she was all donned in sunglasses, and had like the fairest smoothest skin i've ever seen!
it was not until today that i realised it was her after baby told me about her!
if i had known, i'd have taken pictures with her already!
Just went out for dinner with aud and kwai! no pics with me, all with them!
had wood fired pizza at Al Dente Trattoria! Hawaiian, Al Funghi and Parmesan!
dinner was yums, the catch up session was much needed!
i hate feeling so distanced away from you guys, we need to meet up more often!
next time, aud's gonna drive! teehee!! train your driving at night, and upslope more!
our next destination: Dempsey Hill! xD
early night for me! goodnight! its a fridaee~!!!!
[[ you're the most thoughtful ever, and you thought i'd never realise. i've known it all along! =D and never once will i take it for granted~ <3 ]]

THE GETAWAY.

finally i had the chance to get outta SINGAPORE!
to our friendly neighbour country, malaysia.
a 3-day-2-night to Genting really helped me get some fabulous R&R. ahhh~
didn't come cheap, but wayy cheaper than all the other trips i had planned.
realised that Genting is really lowering their standards,
expensive yet not worth it, both in terms of food and souvenirs,
i had a really hard time souvenir-shopping there, all they had worth buying were foodstuff.

What's more saddening was the arcade area, whereby we discovered a game that kept malfunctioning so they kept giving out free games, and if you had mastered the skill, you'd easily get hold of 100 tickets per game.

In the end, all i found worth changing for my tickets was a golden coin keychain with the words 'My Lucky Gold Coin' across it, which is now happily hanging from my bunch of keys. Its getting heavier every time i have a new addition to it.

I NEED MY HOLIDAY!

did many things too. like this, fish spa!

Before you actually can stick your leg in, the guy had to like use this foot scrub, which i presume was to actually scrub out some dead skin to entice them little fishies to nibble at my feet.
Before i actually put in my leg, i had 0% fear whatsoever of this fish spa, but upon dipping my feet halfway into the water, one single brave fish actually swam towards my foot and took its first bite, and that's when i freaked out!

Damn, they really nibble hard! totally unlike how i imagined it, well i imagined myself in a calm and composed manner, enjoying the fish spa while getting a shoulder massage,
instead, i was screaming and yelping my head off everytime a bloody fish sunk its 'claimed' painless set of teeth into my foot. i drew alot of attention, no doubt, and its not in a good way.
i would never do that again, thank you very much! their nibble is more than mere massaging, it actually hurts pretty bad, but i have to say, i had baby smooth foot skin after that! a pleasant reward for my bravery!

enjoying the few hours of sun before the rain came. it rained non-stop, and its no joke when you're stuck on a mountain, amidst clouds that rub against each other, generating millions of volts of electricity. I've never seen brighter and scarier lightnings than the one i saw there!
even with the curtains drawn in the hotel room, the flashes were obvious.
wouldn't wanna be outdoors, its a good thing everywhere's sheltered!

the only chance to camwhore outdoors, and making good use of it.

waiting for the 4D show to start, a far cry from Disneyland's version of 4D but a good effort.
was included in the tickets we bought anyway, i thought the haunted house was pretty good.
That's cos i've watched the older version when i was just a wee kid of 13 years old, and that was really lousy. Now they've improved much, i actually got pretty spooked out by the 'alive' toys in the nursery! not too bad.
Went to catch a magic show 'Dazzle' as well, they were selling it at a promotional price,
and that was well worth every cent!
A total of 5 illusionists/magicians performed, in between the intervals were dances by pretty ang moh girls(vegas style), and even audience participation, which made the whole thing really entertaining! Truly a cherry on top of a sundae, just what i need to end of a long day.
Of course, we gave the buffet there a try, a real disappointment for the amount we paid! :(
the one that would not have disappointed us would be the steakhouse location INSIDE the casino, which i was denied entry to. BAH! wait till i'm 21, i'll throw my passport at any guard that tries to stop me then.
A short but enjoyable and memorable trip, now to save up for my next trip, and a real GOODIE that i wanna get this GSS season! xD
SAVE SAVE SAVE!!!!!
i hate it the way i wanna save, and i feel that something i need to buy comes along.
Like just today, i received an email on a play titled 'The Terrible Infants', a fusion of Roald Dahl and Tim Burton, although personally i feel its more of Tim Burton meets The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus. haha.
got the tickets this very afternoon, costs me a whopping $30!
(that could have been my lunch for a week....)
but its not everyday they come to Singapore, shall see if it is really worth my $30, but from the short trailer clip that i watched, i know its gonna be worth it! =D
BELATED POST:
NYJC College Day.

went back to get my cert!
love how they make it look so professional! haha.

=DDD
its gonna be the weekends soon again!
and another week has gone by.
i hope my holiday never ends... i'm not sick of it yet! :(

attended a wedding dinner, a cousin of mine which i have actually... never seen before in my life until his wedding day. ohwell.
at least dinner was yummy!
and the couple seemed pretty sweet together!
[[ that's when i love you. ]]
