all thanks to de help of yanlan.
had buffet brakfast(DOUBLE YAY)
[its in our blood to get psyched over buffets, given our extent of kiasu-ism]
which was rather nice,
except for the scrambled eggs which looks and taste like
they've been drowned in oil over and over again.
after breakfast, we went up to our room to pack our stuff as
we were leaving for a new hotel alr.
lucky for me, i managed NOT to leave anything behind!
our first stop was at a temple.
it was well hidden behind the shophouses.
but inside,
.
.
.
.
it was big!
i was expecting something smaller so this totally wow-ed me.
(abit dark cos i was considerate enough not to use flash xDD )
anyway, the main focus was not the temple but in fact,
the stalls selling food!
we jus had breakfast lah.
good one man, tourguide. hahas.
but his theory was that one can never be full in taiwan.
that's the whole point of even being in taiwan,
to snack!
my very first taiwan snack!
(as in officially in taiwanand not shilin frm j8)
don't ask me wads that cos i have no idea,
and i didn't even bother to ask, given my spoken chinese standards.
this was just the stall i patronised.
i suppose its tastes like the pink kueh that they sell in singapore.
those kind u eat with loads of black sauce and chilli.
what i ate was meatballs. taiwan meatballs.
there were damn yummy and the tourguide was right.
i ate them without any difficulties at all.
didnt even feel like, extremely bloated.
yanlan: i love meatballs!
i just love the way they use metal spoons there to eat!
very authentic, andd i hardly see tht in singapore, in fact, never.
after our second breakfast,
we went out to the taiwan streets
very polluted, just can't see it in this picture only.
taiwan is over-populated with motorcycles.
andd then, we were on our way to the cultural village located at ali-shan,
aka ali mountain.
stopped by 7-11 on the way.
the mascots of 7-11 are wayy cute.
anyways, in order to ensure tht i dun fall sick,
i shall be a health freak for once
.
.
.
fruit juice?!?!
hahaas yeahh.
taiwan fruit juice, to be correct.
see this lazy pig, wouldn't even wanna go down the bus.
just continue sleepingg. xP
anyway, let me introduce you to my boyfriend ok.
met him in taiwan.
we have one thing in common, we like to take pictures.
here he is!
.
.
.
.
hahahas only jokingg`
im no pedophile!
im sorry but i jus can't recall his name.
he's also in de tour with his parents.
me: i'm hungry
yanlan: let's take pic first
finally we stopped for lunch.
wow! what a posh place.
lunch wasn't very fantastic although the placed looked great.
we also saw some cute taiwan high school bois:D
but guess wad, all of them were attached,
or they were surrounded by many other girls.
we finally reached the cultural village,
where we were greeted by the sign of a guardhouse.
mayb they're afraid of terrorists or wad.
we're just tourists here to have a good time! don't shoot!
welcome to jiu wu cultural village.
very very big place~
andd its a combination of a cultural village as well as a theme park!
teehees~
more the next time round!
blogger, will u stop screwing up on me!
[[ nowhere, nowhere on earth i'll rather be ]]
