heyys! i'm so sorry this post took damn long!
but was busy with school and all.
anyways, i'm gonna blog every single detail inside as CLEARLY as possible
cos i dun ever wanna forget anything about my taiwan trip!
here goes!
woke up that morning at 4am. 4am!
okay lah, actually i didn't even sleep can?
i told you i wasn't going to sleep so i'd fall asleep on the plane mah!
showered and did some last minute packing all the way till 5.30,
den it was outta the house!
it was so sweet cos everyone,
including my pig of a sister,
went to send me off at the airport.
supposed to go for roti prata which i was soooo looking forward to,
but guess wad?
but since its a public holiday,
jalan kayu there the prata shop close! -cries-
so nvms, headed off to the airport,
was alr feeling rather sleepy in the car.
reached the airport at around 6+,
went to check in and i was supposed to find the tour group leader
but i didn't manage to.
went for breakfast at macs,
(which i will regret later)
where i had hotcakes and the most disgusting orange juice i have ever come across.
(screw me for being healthy)
at around 7.50, my mom started to get panicky cos
my seat on the flight was not confirmed.
so it was a bit of a hassle to go get the seats and everything,
but all the waiting, it finally paid off!
cos i got A SEAT IN BUSINESS CLASS!!
how cool is that?
i've never ever sat in business class before lor,
so can't blame me for being so excited.
my mom said i had to check in early,
so i went in like 45 mins before time.
(which is extremely early considering the fact that i am alone,
and its not fun walking around the terminal alone. pretty boring)
hugged everybody goodbye, except panu who din wann one frm me,
denn went in to the departure gate.
damn sad to not be able to travel wif my family,
andd then again, its really damn lonely.
there's nothing much i could do inside,
andd i wasn't willing to splurge my money buying things inside the terminal,
so that's no shopping for me.
wanted to check out if i could at least use the computers there,
but it was so typically occupied by kids, playing games and using friendster.
annoying right? andd they so don't keep to the 20 mins time limit per user.
in the end, i finally sat down there and took out my magazines which i had bought the day before!
sometimes i jus have the luck.
one day before i leave for taiwan, the new edition of teenage and teens came out.
andd fahrenheit was the featured star on teenage. IT JUS ROCKS! xDD
while i was halfway thru my magazine,
they finally announced that we could board the plane,
starting with first class and business class(MEMEME!) passengers.
damn excited when i went in okays.
andd the air stewardess were all so polite.
top-notch service! ME LIKEY =D
ooooh. denn i started taking pictures cos everybody wanted to see how it looks like right?
YEAH!
look at the amount of room i have!
andd guess wad?
they dun serve their drinks in the cheap plastic cups
that i always get in economy class.
its real glass!
my legs are lovin` the free space!
i should be entitled to business class whenever i fly
cos i have freakishly long legs that simply would not fit in economy class.
i practically have to prop my knees up against the seat in front of me,
and that always results in me getting leg cramps!
(like last year, the flight was 21 hours!!!!!)
tee hee. this jus rocks.
well, the not-sleeping-the-night-before thing
totally works!
cos even before the plane took off,
i was all buckled up and sleeping like some pig.
was really dead tired.
finally when i woke up,
i looked at my watch only to realise that i've been sleeping for the past 2 hours!
SEE! that's another 2 hours more to go only!
andd i've also realised that the seat beside me is not empty,
but belonged to some taiwan middle-aged guy.
(so much for meeting my prince charming on board)
to my delight,
breakfast was not yet served!
wuahahas! if i had fallen asleep,
i'd have missed all the fun!
cos in business class, your meals get served in courses.
somewhat like those grand chinese wedding dinners.
felt so princessy for the first time. lols.
even before breakfast,
they served like..appetisers.
i got cold prawns with mayo,
in which i only took a teeny weeny bite.
denn came cereal, and the air stewardess actually brought out
an entire basketful of bread and croissants(however it is spelt)
denn finally, came the main course,
(i was quite full alr. thanks to the macs. told you i'll regret)
which was eggs and sausages.
(the sausages looked so huge and brown,
i didn't dare to touch them)
the last time i ate those at starbucks in m'sia,
i had a tummy upset for the entire day!
finally ended with fruits.
damn wasted that i didn't take any photos cos
all this time, they set up like a mini table right in front of me.
and i couldn't reach to my bag to get my camera,
neither could i lift up the table cos everything would jus topple.
so i cann only describe it, use your own imagination.
after breakfast,
finally took out the mini tv that was stowed away in the armrest.
got down to watch stardust but even before i got to half of the show,
i fell asleep again!
by the time i woke up,
the plane was alr about to land andd my movie was about to end too!
was abit scared and worried about being in the taiwan airport.
chinese is not exactly my forte, you know.
andd i was right, after i landed,
went to the immigration checkpoint,
andd got my luggage,
i couldn't find the tour guide anywhere!
he wasn't there holding on of those paper saying ASA tours.
zero. nada. nothing at all!
lucky for me, i got his hp number.
called him and said 'hello! hello! i'm at the airport waiting for you, where are you?'
of cos i said this in chinese.
but my chinese must have sucked cos he couldn't understand wad i was talking about.
in the end, i couldn't communicate with him
cos the chinese words he used were too cheem.
so i decided to jus wait for yanlan and her mom at the airport.
went to eat my lunch,
which was this bloody expensive bowl of noodles
which i could easily find in sg for $3.
i paid 7 sing dollars.
but for that, i got to sit there for over an hour reading
Me and Mr Darcy. (cheryl introduced me that book and its really not bad!)
finally, yanlan and her mom came,
we sat a cab to our hotel, which was surprisingly near to the airport.
like 10 mins drive away?
settled down into the hotel room,
and camwhored abit.
but what i love most, was the bathroom!
it was HUGE!
i thinkk i did take a picture of it.
damn nice okay!!
bet 3 giants could fit in there comfortably.
watched tv there,
and taiwan tv really rocks.
cos its all variety shows or this really hot tv series there called
ma la xian shi, about one ex gangster becoming teacher,
very much like gto. except the guy's not as cute as onizuka.
went to this shopping mall for dinner that night
with our tour group.
our tour group were 3 different families, including us both, and our tour guide.
ohwells,
the shopping centre was rather big,
but nothing much to shop really.
most of the shops are really the same as in sg,
except that they were selling mostly winter clothings.
andd they also had this ginormous arcade there.
but we didn't go in.
its like at least four times the one at amk hub.
huge right?
ANDD THIS IS THE CRAZIEST THING WE SAW THAT NIGHT.
yx will love this, cos its like some super mutated version of
her favourite street basketball.
the second level is the level of the normal street bball u see in the arcade.
oooh all that walking made us hungry lo.
so we went for western!
weird right, go taiwan should eat taiwan food.
but it was good!
quite yummy,
and reasonably priced lahs.
we had pizza, fries and soup!
plus bubble tea!
taiwan bubble tea is the best(as they say)
but seriously?
it tastes the same to me.
maybe jus knowing for a fact its taiwan bubble tea will make it taste nicer or wadever,
but it really jus taste normal lahs.

the weather there is very nice at night lahs.

denn it was time to go,
so it was bybyes big-shopping-centre-which-i-forgot-ur-name.
went back to the hotel,
