to our friendly neighbour country, malaysia.
a 3-day-2-night to Genting really helped me get some fabulous R&R. ahhh~
didn't come cheap, but wayy cheaper than all the other trips i had planned.
realised that Genting is really lowering their standards,
expensive yet not worth it, both in terms of food and souvenirs,
i had a really hard time souvenir-shopping there, all they had worth buying were foodstuff.
What's more saddening was the arcade area, whereby we discovered a game that kept malfunctioning so they kept giving out free games, and if you had mastered the skill, you'd easily get hold of 100 tickets per game.
In the end, all i found worth changing for my tickets was a golden coin keychain with the words 'My Lucky Gold Coin' across it, which is now happily hanging from my bunch of keys. Its getting heavier every time i have a new addition to it.
I NEED MY HOLIDAY!
did many things too. like this, fish spa!
Before you actually can stick your leg in, the guy had to like use this foot scrub, which i presume was to actually scrub out some dead skin to entice them little fishies to nibble at my feet.
Before i actually put in my leg, i had 0% fear whatsoever of this fish spa, but upon dipping my feet halfway into the water, one single brave fish actually swam towards my foot and took its first bite, and that's when i freaked out!
Damn, they really nibble hard! totally unlike how i imagined it, well i imagined myself in a calm and composed manner, enjoying the fish spa while getting a shoulder massage,
instead, i was screaming and yelping my head off everytime a bloody fish sunk its 'claimed' painless set of teeth into my foot. i drew alot of attention, no doubt, and its not in a good way.
i would never do that again, thank you very much! their nibble is more than mere massaging, it actually hurts pretty bad, but i have to say, i had baby smooth foot skin after that! a pleasant reward for my bravery!
enjoying the few hours of sun before the rain came. it rained non-stop, and its no joke when you're stuck on a mountain, amidst clouds that rub against each other, generating millions of volts of electricity. I've never seen brighter and scarier lightnings than the one i saw there!
even with the curtains drawn in the hotel room, the flashes were obvious.
wouldn't wanna be outdoors, its a good thing everywhere's sheltered!
the only chance to camwhore outdoors, and making good use of it.
waiting for the 4D show to start, a far cry from Disneyland's version of 4D but a good effort.
was included in the tickets we bought anyway, i thought the haunted house was pretty good.
That's cos i've watched the older version when i was just a wee kid of 13 years old, and that was really lousy. Now they've improved much, i actually got pretty spooked out by the 'alive' toys in the nursery! not too bad.
Went to catch a magic show 'Dazzle' as well, they were selling it at a promotional price,
and that was well worth every cent!
A total of 5 illusionists/magicians performed, in between the intervals were dances by pretty ang moh girls(vegas style), and even audience participation, which made the whole thing really entertaining! Truly a cherry on top of a sundae, just what i need to end of a long day.
Of course, we gave the buffet there a try, a real disappointment for the amount we paid! :(
the one that would not have disappointed us would be the steakhouse location INSIDE the casino, which i was denied entry to. BAH! wait till i'm 21, i'll throw my passport at any guard that tries to stop me then.
A short but enjoyable and memorable trip, now to save up for my next trip, and a real GOODIE that i wanna get this GSS season! xD
SAVE SAVE SAVE!!!!!
i hate it the way i wanna save, and i feel that something i need to buy comes along.
Like just today, i received an email on a play titled 'The Terrible Infants', a fusion of Roald Dahl and Tim Burton, although personally i feel its more of Tim Burton meets The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus. haha.
got the tickets this very afternoon, costs me a whopping $30!
(that could have been my lunch for a week....)
but its not everyday they come to Singapore, shall see if it is really worth my $30, but from the short trailer clip that i watched, i know its gonna be worth it! =D
BELATED POST:
NYJC College Day.
love how they make it look so professional! haha.
its gonna be the weekends soon again!
and another week has gone by.
i hope my holiday never ends... i'm not sick of it yet! :(
