busy fishy day.

Dad has the whole week off work so we decided on a fishing trip today.
Woke up bright and early this morning to head down to Keppel Bay for breakfast, before we try out our new secret fishing spot. Been seeing people fish there for ages, but that place is teeming with security cameras and 'No Fishing' signs, plus the fishes that were caught seemed like those coral fishes that were brightly colored or striped.

Prive was really empty this morning, apart from the Eggs Benedict and Eggs Royale, everything else was not yummy. :( Beginning to lose interest in that place. The sun came up right after breakfast, and that's when we grabbed our rods and eagerly started to fish. Dad caught the first fish which cia wanted to keep as a pet because of its pretty stripes, but it died an hour later. :( The guards came to shoo us off later on, and then we realized only those who lived there or owned a boat could actually fish there. Hardly any fishes anyways, mostly the same ones.

Had a whole list of chores for the whole day, but that didn't stop us from stopping by Ikea to grab lunch! It was the perfect lunch place, minus the crowd, and we even got a nice seat by the windows! Got caught in a bad jam later in the afternoon on the way back to school, motorbike got crushed under the wheels of a huge vehicle. ouch! Rounded up the day with duck rice from Katong and a new pair of specs! I'm beginning to miss singapore already, but its either deal with the missing, or deal with another new sem at school, i'll take the missing anyday! :)
