late nights & shitty korean food.

This monday, the 12th July, is an exceptionally blue monday.
if there was such thing as the world's most-utilised off day, it would have been today.
after the match between spain and holland that took place at 2.30AM(i repeat, AM!!!!!) last night, i stared at my clock in pure horror as its cheeky hands pointed to reflect the time 5.30AM!
it was less than an hour of sleep only!
i drag myself outta bed each and every morning, but none was as hard as getting up this morning!!
plus the weather was cold and windy, all i wanted to do was to snuggle deeper into the warmths of my blanket!
but alas, i still came to work, and although time has sorta flown past today,
i'm still extremely sleep-deprived, working up a sleep debt that could actually rival that of the US National Debt!

as i had work the next day, i didn't head down to sentosa to watch the match live, and it was only at 3.30am that i was thankful that my parents had warned me against going out that night.
Throughout the entire match, there was no action at all!
i didn't feel like they were playing for the championship, but rather for the opening match! they had so little drive yesterday night that i seriously fell asleep in between!
when i woke up, all i saw was players cheering and hugging each other.
i had missed the winning goal.
Still, Spain won, but i lost all my bets since they scored outside the 90 minutes.
and baby who actually placed bets on all the impossible, including a draw match actually won!!! hahaha. one in a million.


and to add on to my already exhausted and fatigue self,
i had korean hotplate for lunch at lao pa sat,
and to think i was praising the food for being so extremely yummy!
no seriously, it really is, i finished every last morsel of the chicken & beef although i went there half full.
and that kimchi, it must have been the kimchi, i should have spat it out when i tasted something wrong, it was way too sour, but how was i to know! hello, we're in a food court, not some grand korean restaurant where the kimchi taste heavenly.
so i thought it was perfectly normal, and ate every single bit of it!
went back to the office feeling really bloated, then i realised that i was beginning to develop a stomachache of the weirdest kind, but i acccounted it to my having had too much to eat during lunch.
and within the next hour, it has been trips to the toilet non-stop.
4 times and counting...
damn the korean food!! like my monday isn't bad enough already,
and putting a new word that i have learnt recently to good use - FML!

i'm going home to home-cooked food and my bed, and the person that i've been missing so badly this whole entire day! xD
