sooo its been a great christmas! great food, great presents, holidays- couldn't ask for anything more!
Dinner on 24th dec was @ Earle Swensens T3, a different choice from the normal Swensens restaurant. The menu's pretty much the same except they include a buffet salad bar which really served up a real good variety!
had to wait real long for it though, 45 mins wait! :((
I prefer it to the normal Swensens, this one's great!
Picked a different choice rather than my usual fish&chips, & the must-have sticky chewy chocolate to top it all off nicely!
25th Dec was another xmas meal with baby's family @ Parkroyal Hotel!
brings back great memories!
and after an exhausting yet rewarding night of cycling, we fought off spider webs, long stretches of ominous dark paths, abandoned spooky areas, and yet amidst that, i learnt how to appreciate the beauty within these situations, like finding a nice toilet @ the NSRCC, taking a short nap @ the food centre, lying down on the cold sand waiting for the sunrise, awaiting breakfast!!
oh the simple joys in life! :)
Finally waited for sunrise @ 8.30am,
just a tiny blob in the sky, nothing like you see in the movies, bah!
style & nicole both fell asleep & had it not been my eagerness to see the sunrise, i would have fallen asleep right there! with the sound of waves crashing against the shore, windy breeze and the cold sand to lay upon, ahhh such peace! :)
still, i knocked out the whole day, it was just a series of deep sleep, then waking up and falling back asleep again.
New year's dinner with the family @ casurina!
mom ordered a whole 8-course meal, we were soooo full!
started off with a cold plate, then a whole fish (which i did eat a teeeny little bit), soup wasn't that great, but chili crab was loves! no, i'm not into the crab, just crazy over the sauce!
its a great year end but a fab year ahead!
Hello 2011!
Started work & will be working all the way till school starts again, & once school starts,
its a week till chinese new year so my holidays actually feel like its more than just a month! :)
Had tickets for universal studios on the 22nd but things screwed up real bad, pissed me off so badly & i do hope everything's gonna turn out fine or i'm gonna have another fit about this whole thing. Date changed to 29th jan, the week that school starts! :(
Rocky horror show this Saturday! Blew my entire savings on 4 tickets but i'm positive that its gonna be GREAT!
Heard about the dressing up & stuff but i'm just gonna be looking at how others dress.
Its Singapore after all, don't think the audience are gonna be that keen on dressing up too. well, we shall see.
Dinner tonight was great, mom went the extra mile! :)
she's been cooking a lot often & i do miss home-cooked food a lot!
Baby's exhausted this week, must be hell at camp. :(
He got himself a new organiser & is so into it! :)
i always like an organised person! :D
another day at work tomorrow!
