Its a Monday once more, & my weekends was just fab! :)
i wish every weekend could be so carefree rather than being laden down with schoolwork. :(
Headed to baby's camp first thing in the morning, we were all late. Snoozed the alarm many times!
Still, we made it! The weather was soooo hot,
& there were just the usual popcorn & candy stand, drink stall, & a stall which sold laksa in a cute styroafoam cup! I just liked the cup, laksa ain't that good! :(
first time we get to go in.
& this one game they had which i have never seen before but its super hilarious & entertaining!
The Bullride.
It was really funny to see guys hanging on for dear life!
Most of them usually fall off after 3 full spins, and some attempt to cheat by hooking their foot under the horns, thinking that the whole world was blind or something. Obviously everyone can see you doing that.
BUT there was this one guy, he must be like some major there or something, he looked well over 60 years old, & the guy handling the bullride didn't dare to increase the speed in case he fell off and broke a neck or something, but he held on for pretty long, and even after the guy increased the speed, he still held on! Like some true blue cowboy just popped out of the blue.
After he gracefully fell off the bull, gracefully, he just slid off when he lost his balance, he even bounced all the way off the bouncy area. Such energy at such age. :)
But it was so entertaining seeing the bull fling the guys off the ride, or see their faces scrunch up & turn red with concentration of having to hang on! funny!
They should have this at EVERY carnival/event! :)
We left at around 11+ and headed down to Sentosa soon after!
With my trust sony camera, we camwhored for hours & hours, the three of us!
It was pure fun! :)
discovered this mysterious cave out of nowhere, it is like some zone off the map of Resorts World, beyond the seafood restaurant.
& then we discovered this scenic spot to capture very pretty photographs along a mini boardwalk, and the best part? Nobody even knows of its existence!
We made a playground out of it, nobody was even there, that whole place was ours for that few glorious hours!
superwoman! He weighs a ton!
Superman! I don't weigh a ton! :D
aww. show some sister one.
MIIIIIINE!!!
In the mini shopaholic book which i'm reading now, minnie brandon is always yelling 'miiiiine' & i somehow always imagine this exact image of her hogging some item! HAHA!
:D don't ask how we did it.
wooooo do the moonwalk, baby!
<3
Contortionist. Except since when did he have such smooooth legs? :D
yes so that marks our very hot yet enjoyable afternoon, we waited at the lobby of Festive Hotel,
had chocolate gelato which was the best except the service there wasn't really good.
Finally had access to the room @ around 4pm, ahh aircon! what will i do without you?
Brings back great memories to be back in that room, had a nice longggg shower before heading off for the Rocky Horror Show!
we made it just in time for it! Cia waited for us at the esplanade library and the cafe people there were real sweet! They knew she was waiting for us and offered to keep the cafe open till our show ended! I always knew they were a nice bunch of people!
the owner of the cafe (not sure if its still the same one) is a woman with a very strong american accent, but she's the sweetest! :)
i could spend my entire afternoon there anyday.
the turnout was fantastic, and OMG people really do get dressed up for the show!!
before we went in, we saw a guy in the scottish skirt, girls wearing corset tops & fishnet stockings, men dressed as characters in the show (which i only noticed later on).
They had torchlights & light sticks and some guy in front of me even wore pink gloves (for reasons which I was to realise only halfway through the show)
There, this is the guy with the pink gloves! the whole row of them in front of us dressed up for it!
they were pretty enthusiastic about it, but when they started getting too excited in the middle of the show, they got told off by a couple sitting beside us, they toned down a lot after.
But that didn't stop them from doing the whole time warp dance with the crew at the end!
it was soooo adorable! :)
the show was great, a real eye opener.
the ending was kinda sad though.. :(
i prefer happy endings. I loved it when the song 'there's a light' came on & all those lightsticks & torchlight came up, the whole audience was sooo supportive & enthusiastic!
Hossan was great too! Nice to see a familiar face! I was soooo impressed by dr frank n furter's vocals. He can really sing!
awww i'm kinda sad its over! I do wanna go again!
Now i'm looking forward to my next one, the Lion King! :D
i've put my mind to learn how to do the time warp in my free time.
Watched Shan & Ross doing it, they were sooo cute! hahahaha!
During the 20 minutes interval. Nearly full house i would say.
Thanks for a great performance Rocky Horror Show, you guys deserve 100% of the standing ovation you received that night!!
Till we meet again!
I'm finally done with The Pupil, and season 2's not gonna be out till end of the year.
Well, at least i finally found my Harry Potter & the deathly Hallows with the cover i wanted! :)
that should keep me occupied for a bit!
